Dr. Amber Melton grew up in Hillsville, VA and is a 2006 graduate of VA-MD Regional College of Vet Medicine. She owns Mountain View Veterinary Clinic in Woodlawn.
OUR VETERINARIANS:
Dr. Jamie Cassell grew up on a beef, dairy, and sheep farm in Independence, VA. He is a 1992 graduate of VA-MD Regional College of Vet Medicine. He is the owner of this practice and has been serving your area for over 20 years. He has four daughters, one of which is a veterinarian at this practice. He has 30 dairy cattle here in Galax and is also very involved in the Cassell beef farm in Speedwell. He and his daughters enjoy showing their cows at local and state fairs.
Dr. Melissa Laws Gambill grew up in Galax, VA. She is a 2015 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was very active in 4-H growing up and worked as a veterinary assistant at Healing Springs with Dr. Cassell for several years prior to college. In addition to her veterinary work, she helps her husband, Aaron Gambill, on his family's beef farm.
